I’m a 40 something software engineer. OK, in reality I’m looking 50 right in the eye. I picked up photography over 20 years ago and did a lot of it for many years. Over time, other priorities took over and I neglected it. I recently decided to go back to it and concentrate on monochrome.

Behind the curtain
The photo isn’t sharp. Handheld at 1/4d was a bit optimistic, but the 350D was terrible above ISO 400. I like the view and the details though. Visits: 7
Bin etiquette
This sign looked to me it came straight out of the 50s. It tells people what to do with their communal bins. I just loved the wood and crumbling plastered wall texture. Visits: 21
Walking past
I’m not an invasive photographer. When I take photos in the street, I tend to take people passing by from a good distance. And as I’m obsessed with doors and doorways, I have a lot of people walking past doors. Visits: 30
